[Today, a well-dressed man with a lovely black boa is gracing your screen, network. He's lounging in a PokeCenter near a window. The sun's just about to finish its descent, so it's practically night time. Apparently someone's about to turn in after a day full of training! Maybe...?]
Ah, there we are. Hello.
I've only been here for a little under a week, and I simply must ask...has anyone else here been dealing with a large difference in technology from their own world?
[He begins to play with a Pokeball in between the fingers of his free hand.]
You see, I am a doctor, and I've found that many of my healing techniques have been rendered useless because of the difference in technology here. However, there seems to be a machine that heals the monsters in a similar fashion... [Suddenly a frown crosses his face.] Unfortunately, the nurses here were reluctant to to divulge how it works.
[He shakes his head, pretty disappointed about it.]
A pity, that. I certainly hope we humans aren't being put on the back burner when it comes to healthcare. I'll have to look into it further.
But I digress. Please, feel free to tell me your technology woes. If you happen to have more information about healthcare in this world, feel free to bring that up as well. I would be very interested to hear about it.
[He gives a small half-bow from his resting position, and before ending the feed...]
Do have a good night.
[Private to the Rocket frequency]
[The boa-clad man appears again, this time in a location more familiar to members of Team Rocket: a dreary and nondescript dorm room in the base. He's propped himself up against a table in the dorm room, smirking softly into the camera.]
Good evening. I've been here long enough that I believe a proper introduction is in order.
My name is Rideaux. As you may have seen on my entry earlier, I am a doctor. I also have plenty of field experience, though I cannot say I'm very used to relying solely on others to fight for me.
[He's referring to his Pokemon, which can be seen in the background beside his bed. The Zangoose and Houndour don't look overly pleased but they're not miserable or anything.]
Aside from an introduction, I'm addressing you with a question. Does anyone have any idea how we are here? Since I am well aware that I am not the only one who was whisked from my own world to this one; I've discussed this with a couple other members but haven't found any useful information thus far.
I'm not complaining about it—trust me, this is an improvement to an extent, and whoever did this had good taste for choosing to use my services—but I'm curious how it was done.
[Much like he did in his previous video, he gives that little bow. But this time he flashes a sort of sinister smirk into the camera.]
That said...ultimately, I look forward to working with you all. I do hope this organization is as fun as it sounds.

video;
But Rideaux's not going to comment on that bit. He's more taken off guard by something else.]
Is that right? This seems like such a large region; I can't imagine how many people would be inconvenienced if they fell ill and needed to travel all the way to one city to receive treatment.
It doesn't make any sense. Is human illness not a common occurrence in this world?
video;
It doesn't look that common. There's a significant difference in how many people we treat versus the number of Pokemon that come in. And even then, it's usually been situational at best: My mawile bit me or my charmander accidentally burned my hand.
It's pretty surprising. Either that or we've just been lucky.
video;
I understand an increased traffic of injured monsters, considering the pressure to pit them against each other in battle, but the absence of illness in humans is so strange...
[And doesn't bode well. It's hard to compete with Pokemon Centers as a healer for Pokemon, especially since the Centers are free.]
Would you say you get enough patients to justify it as a means of sufficient income?
video;
It is. Despite the change of seasons, it doesn't seem like people get all that sick here.
[ As for the question of payment... ]
They pay volunteers by the hour so it really doesn't matter how many patients come around. If there aren't enough humans to tend to, I help with the pokemon.
video;
Helping as in operating the machines? Or administering basic first aid?
video;
video;
[But ugh, he'll have to just drop it for now. Complaining about it isn't going to get him anywhere.]
Regardless, I appreciate your answers. After a bit more research on this world's monsters, I'll have to see if I can begin offering my medical services as well.
video;
[ Whoops, nearly forgot... ]
Sorry... I think I forgot to get your name?
video;
[He considered using an alias just for secrecy's sake, but eh, way too much effort.]
And you are...?
video;
[ He can't help but give the smallest nod at that. ]
I'm glad to have met another member of the medical field in this world, Mister Rideaux.
[ There is only a slight stumble on the name, too. ]
video;
He'll also ignore that stumble because he's feeling slightly generous today. After all, the kid gave him some pretty useful information.]
The feeling is mutual, Mr. Okumura. Being a newcomer to this world, it's good to find at least some common ground with someone.
video;
[ There's a sigh though. ]
It'll be a relief to get some other volunteers for the Pokemon center. I'm sure the nurses will appreciate it.
video;
[If he meant to kid around there, it...doesn't really sound like it. He really does think he's pretty invaluable.]
video;
[ There's a pause though as he ruffles his hair. ]
We can use the help we can get.
