[Today, a well-dressed man with a lovely black boa is gracing your screen, network. He's lounging in a PokeCenter near a window. The sun's just about to finish its descent, so it's practically night time. Apparently someone's about to turn in after a day full of training! Maybe...?]
Ah, there we are. Hello.
I've only been here for a little under a week, and I simply must ask...has anyone else here been dealing with a large difference in technology from their own world?
[He begins to play with a Pokeball in between the fingers of his free hand.]
You see, I am a doctor, and I've found that many of my healing techniques have been rendered useless because of the difference in technology here. However, there seems to be a machine that heals the monsters in a similar fashion... [Suddenly a frown crosses his face.] Unfortunately, the nurses here were reluctant to to divulge how it works.
[He shakes his head, pretty disappointed about it.]
A pity, that. I certainly hope we humans aren't being put on the back burner when it comes to healthcare. I'll have to look into it further.
But I digress. Please, feel free to tell me your technology woes. If you happen to have more information about healthcare in this world, feel free to bring that up as well. I would be very interested to hear about it.
[He gives a small half-bow from his resting position, and before ending the feed...]
Do have a good night.
[Private to the Rocket frequency]
[The boa-clad man appears again, this time in a location more familiar to members of Team Rocket: a dreary and nondescript dorm room in the base. He's propped himself up against a table in the dorm room, smirking softly into the camera.]
Good evening. I've been here long enough that I believe a proper introduction is in order.
My name is Rideaux. As you may have seen on my entry earlier, I am a doctor. I also have plenty of field experience, though I cannot say I'm very used to relying solely on others to fight for me.
[He's referring to his Pokemon, which can be seen in the background beside his bed. The Zangoose and Houndour don't look overly pleased but they're not miserable or anything.]
Aside from an introduction, I'm addressing you with a question. Does anyone have any idea how we are here? Since I am well aware that I am not the only one who was whisked from my own world to this one; I've discussed this with a couple other members but haven't found any useful information thus far.
I'm not complaining about it—trust me, this is an improvement to an extent, and whoever did this had good taste for choosing to use my services—but I'm curious how it was done.
[Much like he did in his previous video, he gives that little bow. But this time he flashes a sort of sinister smirk into the camera.]
That said...ultimately, I look forward to working with you all. I do hope this organization is as fun as it sounds.

[Shifting his chair, Kato centers himself properly in front of the camera and links his fingers together.]
Obviously, we're the brains of the team - our main focus is the development and provision of the technology that the field agents use. There are a number of departments, dedicated to different things - I work for R&D, in Division D, with my partner, Dist. He's the head of the division.
[Behind Kato's head, a Lunatone appears, slowly beginning to rotate curiously in front of the camera.]
With your qualifications, you might be more suited to the biological side of things...there's plenty of things to play with, depending on your tastes.
[If you've been brought into Team Rocket, after all, there's a good chance that you're not the typical sort of doctor...]
Provided that is what you want to pursue, of course.
[private Rocket video]
Well, you've done a fine job of piquing my interest. I'll have to come down there and see what there is to work with, once my training period is complete.
[Ugh, this training period is such a waste of time, too. They must profile the people they intend to bring here, so they should be well aware that he doesn't need it!
SIGH, oh well.]
And just what sort of work do you do? R&D can mean a variety of things.
[May as well collect information on his colleagues while they're here...]
[private Rocket video]
[Welp, brace yourself, Rideaux, because Kato's grinning now.]
I work on the development of weapons; specifically, explosives. My current project revolves around transferring the energy of Pokemon into my bombs, to increase their power and destructive capabilities. I then supply them to our field agents, for whatever nefarious deeds they require them for.
[Laughing softly to himself, Kato leans back in his chair and links his fingers together, like he thinks he's an Evangelion character.]
My partner - Dist - works more on the biological side of things. One of his projects involved coating Pokemon with metal, to make them more durable.
Needless to say, we have fun.
[private Rocket video]
At least this sounds like home...sort of. Spirius and Helioborg were doing all kinds of things, so he wouldn't be surprised if stuff like this was being developed there.]
It certainly sounds like it. My lab work isn't quite as flashy, but I like to think creating new and lifesaving medicines is impressive in its own right.
[He's cool too okay!!]
Though I haven't much of a clue how in-demand medicine is in this world. I may have to get a bit more creative with my work.
[private Rocket video]
...however, he will admit that that sort of thing is pretty important in the grand scheme of things, so.]
I'd also be questioning how in-demand medicine is amongst Team Rocket...I'm not quite sure if it's something our superiors would like us to focus on.
[...although...]
Unless you're willing to branch out a little bit, when it comes to chemical concoctions.
[private Rocket video]
That's probably why I was primarily placed amongst the field members instead. Not that I mind.
[He's good at saving and taking lives, he'll go either way. Because there's totally gonna be a lot of killing going on in this world right.]
I'm not against that. I work with poisons and other potentially nasty substances pretty often while making my medicines- a little more fitting for a nefarious organization, I suppose.
[private Rocket video]
...or at least there would be, if it wasn't for Those Damn Protagonists! You know the ones.]
Honestly, with your sort of knowledge you'll probably find yourself in high demand from both the Field and Science departments...you may have the pick of the litter, so to say.
I'd recommend Science, of course, but that's because I'm not really cut out to be a field agent. Far too much work for little reward.
[aka he's a Huge Nerd, but you know. Whatever works!]
[private Rocket video]
They both have their merits, in my opinion. If you do enough field work, you'll find that there's something cathartic about it.
[You know, busting some skulls here and there. It feels pretty great. It's why he's not that opposed to having to steal random monsters.]
[private Rocket video]
...but if you're keen for that sort of thing, by all means. It's about time we got some more people who are actually keen to do some damage.]
I'll have to take your word for it.
[Besides, what's the point of being promoted if you can't force underlings to do the field work for you?]
Have you started Training, yet?
[private Rocket video]
He can't exactly deny it's a messy job. But someone's gotta do it, and what's better if they actually enjoy it?]
Yes. I have about a week to go, then I'm not sure what comes next. Do they just set us loose on the region?
