[text/action for the Goldenrod Pokemon Center]
[Rideaux's latest post to the network is very short and sweet...and also in text form!]
What would you consider to be the most essential Pokemon-related items to bring along for extended travel? Is there something you always forget to stock up on and regret it midway through a route? I'm about to finally take a full tour of Johto myself and I'd like to be prepared.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
[There are totally no devious intentions behind this post at all.
Around the time Rideaux makes this post, he can actually be found out in the open! He's currently in the Goldenrod Pokemon Center, dressed in the full and very pink Pokemon Center uniform, lounging around in the lobby and texting on his 'Gear.
...He's on break, okay? But hey, that doesn't mean he's free of being bothered for medical care. Or hassled for looking like he's slacking on the job.]

[A few hours after his public network post and now that he's off the clock and back in his nondescript Rocket dorm room, Rideaux decides to inform his fellow Rockets as to what's going on.
He's twirling one of his bangs when he flips the feed on. He's leaning against a table that the 'Gear is propped up on, his neatly-folded Pokemon Center visible on the bed in the background.]
Rideaux here. I'm going to be out of the base for an undetermined amount of time. I've been offered a position to be a traveling medic for the Pokemon Center- some sort of new service they're testing out. I decided to take it, as I could use an excuse to get out of this city for a while and continue collecting those badges. Rest assured that I will find a way to make this opportunity beneficial for the Team.
[Now bored with his hair-twirling, he moves to light finger-tapping against the surface of his table.]
That said, should you find me on the routes, do not hesitate to ask for aid. Though try not to blow my cover, would you? I'd like to enjoy this little stint while I can.
[And that's it apparently! With a half-hearted flick of his wrist that's supposed to be some sort of wave, he ends the feed.]

The novelty of this place hasn't quite worn off for me yet; I've been here a reasonably short time, though, nothing like the years that some have mentioned.

[In other words, he returns the sentiments. If there's one thing he's looking for in other members, it's ambition and motivation to do things. There are way too many goalless Grunts around here.]
I haven't reached that long myself, it's been about eight months I believe? But I had intended to collect badges and the winter months left me holed up back in the base. I guess you could say I'm suffering from a bit of cabin fever.

I made my arrival in early February - so about three months ago myself! Obviously, getting acquainted with a new world entirely is an interesting process, and this past winter didn't help...ah, but there's no sense in complaining or remaining down about it! I've learned a good amount in my time here, it's been useful indeed.
