He healed up just fine. It's the psychological damage that's going to take some time to fade. That thing is going to be out for revenge when he evolves.

Not particularly, no. I've tried several training methods, including yours. He seems to have only grown more defiant. It's absolutely irritating.
I wouldn't mind his love for destruction if he would channel it properly like I managed with Astor, my Talonflame. I can't work with a lack of control.
