Current Location: Goldenrod City Job: Team Rocket, Private | Pokemon Center Assistant Practitioner
MAIN PARTY
ZANGOOSE ♂ ❝ Slasher ❞
Level: 100 Ability: Immunity Nature: Quiet Characteristic: likes to fight Met At: Level 15 (Goldenrod City Rocket HQ 9/7/14) Known Moves: Scratch, Leer, Quick Attack, Fury Cutter, Pursuit, Slash, Embargo, Crush Claw, Revenge, False Swipe, Detect, X-Scissor, Taunt, Swords Dance, Close Combat, Shadow Claw (TM), Poison Jab (TM), Aerial Ace (TM), Fire Punch (tutor), Ice Punch (tutor), Thunder Punch (tutor)
Rideaux's Rocket starter. While somewhat impressed with Slasher's large claws, Rideaux feels like his technique leaves something to be desired. Honestly, what were the grunts training this thing before him even thinking? Rideaux is determined to teach this monster how to use those claws effectively, even if Slasher is reluctant to participate in Rideaux's particular brand of training.
True to his nature, Slasher likes to stay quiet. He's happy to battle when ordered, but his isn't fond of how rough his trainer can be when it comes to training. As far as he knows, trainers aren't really supposed to fight their own Pokemon! But he is starting to hone his claws more, so he's getting used to the training. When he's not battling, he tends to keep to himself, which is difficult to do because of how nosy Locket is.
HOUNDOOM ♀ ❝ Hellfire ❞
Level: 100 Ability: Flash Fire Nature: Hasty Characteristic: thoroughly cunning Met At: Level 5 (Goldenrod City Rocket HQ 9/7/14) Known Moves: Leer, Ember, Howl, Smog, Roar, Bite, Odor Sleuth, Beat Up, Fire Fang, Feint Attack, Embargo, Foul Play, Flamethrower, Crunch, Nasty Plot, Inferno, Sunny Day (TM), Super Fang (tutor)
Rideaux's secondary Rocket starter. He's feelings are somewhat mixed on this one. On one hand, she's a beast in battle, but on the other hand she's pretty much dumb as a bag of bricks. The only time she actually seems to use her head is during battle. Otherwise she acts like a typical untrained dog (running around carelessly, barking at random inanimate objects, etc.), which is something he's absolutely not going to stand for. No dog of his is going to act like a barbarian!
Unbeknownst to Rideaux however, most of that dumb dog behavior is an act. Truthfully, Hellfire is just messing with him to see if she can get a rise out of him. She's a little jerk like that. Once she feels he's earned her respect, maybe she'll let up and actually obey him outside of battle.
TALONFLAME ♂ ❝ Astor ❞
OT: Jimmy Two-Shoes
Level: 100 Ability: Big Pecks Nature: Impish Characteristic: proud of its power Met At: Level 5 (Goldenrod City 9/23/14) Known Moves: Tackle, Growl, Quick Attack, Peck, Agility, Flail, Ember, Roost, Razor Wind, Natural Gift, Flame Charge, Acrobatics, Me First, Tailwind, Steel Wing, Brave Bird, Sunny Day (TM), Aerial Ace (TM)
Hoping that it'll evolve into something intimidating, Rideaux chose to obtain a little bird from Jimmy. It was a bit of a battle just trying to calm it down, but eventually Rideaux got it to a state of being functional. Whether that's a good thing or not is still up in the air.
Astor is a little shit of a bird. He enjoys picking on other Pokemon, pecking at them just for fun. He even tried to do this to his trainer when he was first obtained, but learned very quickly that was not going to happen. Since then, he's been trained into directing all of his asshole-ish tendencies onto other trainers and Pokemon rather than Rideaux and the rest of the team. This is actually pretty useful when on a theft mission, because Astor loves going for the eyes.
DOUBLADE ♂ ❝ Soulcutter & Spiritreaver ❞
OT: Cobra Commander
Level: 100 Ability: No Guard Nature: Brave Characteristic: strongly defiant Met At: Level 5 (Goldenrod City 9/28/14) Known Moves: Tackle, Swords Dance, Fury Cutter, Metal Sound, Pursuit, Autotomize, Shadow Sneak, Aerial Ace, Retaliate, Slash, Iron Defense, Night Slash, Power Trick, Iron Head, Sacred Sword, Shadow Claw (TM), Toxic (TM)
Let's be completely honest with ourselves, Rideaux wanted this thing solely because it's a weapon and therefore up his alley. However, he was extremely disappointed to find out that actually wielding the sword was going to take a lot more practice and discipline than he imagined.
Soulcutter is incredibly good in battle, taking out enemies with a surprising amount of precision and power, unexpected for a Pokemon of his level. He's perfectly fine following Rideaux's orders...except for when it comes to grabbing his hilt. No matter how much Rideaux tries, trying to directly control him is a big no-no. It makes him feel like Rideaux doesn't think he's doing a good enough job battling as himself, and he doesn't appreciate that at all. However, he's not sure how much more of Rideaux's discipline he can take- he doesn't want to resent his trainer, but it might turn out that way... Due to also being the target of Rideaux's special training, he and Slasher get along well.
When Soulcutter evolved into a Doublade, he split into two different swords. Spiritreaver is a little more on the chaotic side than his brother, and it's difficult to synchronize their attacks because of this. Spiritreaver also isn't as opposed to being used directly by Rideaux and finds his brother to be a killjoy when it comes to that. As long as they're causing destruction and their trainer is winning, who cares how they go about it? Maybe it's all that swinging around that causes his erratic behavior...
WEAVILE ♀ ❝ Dagger ❞
Level: 85 Ability: Keen Eye Nature: Adamant Characteristic: somewhat vain Met At: Level 1 (Route 32 11/20/14) Known Moves: Scratch, Leer, Taunt, Quick Attack, Feint Attack, Icy Wind, Fury Swipes, Agility, Metal Claw, Hone Claws, Beat Up, Screech, Slash, Snatch, Punishment, Ice Shard, Dark Pulse, Night Slash, Nasty Plot, Rock Smash (egg move), Substitute (egg move), Ice Punch (tutor)
Rideaux received a Sneasel egg from Kyouko Kirigiri in exchange for capturing her a Smeargle from the Ruins of Alph. Rideaux was more than happy to do this, because a slick-looking clawed weasel seemed a lot more interesting than a strange dog with a paintbrush tail. He considers himself artistic, but that's a bit much.

FURFROU* ♂ ❝ Obsidian ❞
Level: 50 Ability: Fur Coat Nature: Serious Characteristic: very finicky Met At: Level 1 (Goldenrod City 1/2/15) Known Moves: Tackle, Growl, Sand Attack, Baby-Doll Eyes, Headbutt, Tail Whip, Bite, Odor Sleuth, Retaliate, Take Down, Charm, Sucker Punch, Cotton Guard, Attract (TM), Swagger (TM), Zen Headbutt (tutor)
Obsidian came from an egg that mysteriously appeared when Rideaux woke up on December 25th. He was a little suspicious about the egg, but decided to hang onto it since eggs around here usually mean Pokemon. Rideaux has never seen a normal Furfrou yet so he has no idea that this one is special. What he does know though, is he really likes this dog. The jet black fur and red eyes are very flattering! He's currently sporting the Kabuki trim.

IN ROTATION
KLEFKI ♀ ❝ Locket ❞
OT: Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald
Level: 100 Ability: Prankster Nature: Naive Characteristic: sturdy body Met At: Level 5 (Goldenrod City 9/18/14) Known Moves: Fairy Lock, Tackle, Fairy Wind, Astonish, Metal Sound, Spikes, Draining Kiss, Crafty Shield, Foul Play, Torment, Mirror Shot, Imprison, Recycle, Play Rough, Magic Room, Heal Block, Tunder Wave (TM), Dazzling Gleam (TM)
Rideaux really just wanted a sentient keyring to be completely honest, so he was willing to take one from Kayneth. If it ended up not being so good for battle, at least it'd make a nice fashion accessory.
For a tiny keyring, Locket's quite excitable and eager to get up into everyone's business. Rideaux prefers to keep her clasped to one of his belt loops, but she has a bad habit of leaving that position and just float beside him, much to his chagrin. She can't help it- she doesn't get the best view from that spot, and she wants to see what Rideaux and his other Pokemon are doing!
RAPIDASH ♀ ❝ Cinder ❞
Level: 80 Ability: Flash Fire Nature: Gentle Characteristic: good endurance Met At: Level 20 (Azalea Town 12/1/14) Known Moves: Growl, Tackle, Tail whip, Ember, Flame Wheel, Stomp, Flame Charge, Fire Spin, Take Down, Inferno, Agility, Fire Blast, Bounce, Flare Blitz, Sunny Day (TM), Wild Charge (TM), Drill Run (tutor)
After the strange events during the weekend of November 28th, Rideaux not only mysteriously awoke in Azalea Town when he was previously in the Dark Cave, but he also came across this horse in his PC. He doesn't recall capturing her- he's never even seen this species of Pokemon before! However, he's not opposed to having a rideable Pokemon. The treks on foot from town to town have proven to be more taxing to his health than he previously predicted.
Purchased as an egg from Cecil Harvey, Deva (short for Devastator) has been a thorn in Rideaux's side since day one. He purchased the little dragon in hopes of having a Hydreigon for himself one day, but what he didn't expect was Deva's sheer tenacity for trying to bite the hell out of everything that he senses. Ever since Deva took a chunk out of Rideaux's hand, Rideaux has been extra hard on the Deino when it comes to harsh training. While he wants Deva to obey him without question eventually, he tends to keep him in his Pokeball at all times except for during battle.
Purchased as an egg from Kato and Dist. While Rideaux does find Zorua's transformation ability to be very interesting, he's honestly just fond of its appearance. Its evolution also interests him, since Zoroark fights with its claws, much like Rideaux's other favorites on the team. He thinks he'll have a good time raising one of these Pokemon for himself. Plus, Hunter hatched with some pretty nice eggs move. He can't complain about a useful bonus.
